Claire has spent over 30 years in the lingerie industry and has in that time worked in a variety of positions, giving her a wealth of valuable experience includes buying, retailing, selling and working with lingerie design and production teams. With so much lingerie industry experience, setting up Intimate Apparel Lingerie Consultancy was a natural progression and enabled her to utilise all of her industry knowledge and expertise to help other lingerie businesses succeed. Claire also spent four years writing for the lingerie trade magazines, Lingerie Buyer and Lingerie Insight. According to Claire “you know very quickly if the industry is very right for you, it is like Marmite. You love it or hate it. I quite simply loved it”.

Allison Hawkins

Bra Fitting Specialist at Intimate Apparel Lingerie Consultancy

Allison Hawkins has more than 25 years experience in bra development, which is a very specialist field in the lingerie industry. She now works as a bra fitting trainer, holding bra fitting courses for Intimate Apparel Lingerie Consultancy across the UK & Europe. She is an expert in the field of bra fitting and can help you ensure that all staff are trained to the highest standards, including post surgery bra fitting and maternity bra fitting. According to Allison “I just hate to see badly fitting and machine washed bras”.

Lynn Higley

Sales and Recruitment Specialist at Intimate Apparel Lingerie Consultancy

Lynn has a total of 40 years experience across her two fields of expertise, which are the retail sector and the lingerie industry. She has superb contacts in both sectors and her expertise covers all areas of the lingerie industry as well as general retail. She originally joined our lingerie consultancy in May 2015 and her remit was to work on our every growing lingerie recruitment side, recruiting and head hunting for our clients in the lingerie industry. But her qualifications in Lingerie as a whole meant that she also now works on our lingerie wholesale national accounts, sales and lingerie business consultancy projects too. Lynn maintains that, “anything is possible if you believe in yourself” and approaches all situations and problems with a positive, can do attitude.
