The international beachwear fair in Florence has revealed beachwear trends for 2025 at their event in July 2024. This selection of trends was curated by a leading expert on beachwear Nello Marelli.
Kawai chic
There are strong signs of the past here with ruffles, crochet details and hand-made homely elements that give a sense of uniqueness. Also, lots of simple familiar comfortable fabrics such as ribbed jersey and tubular knit fabric and textures evoking nature and sand dunes.
Modern Boheme
A Bohemian, romantic, seductive atmosphere sees exotic styles matched with precious accessories that illuminate the costumes. Unique elements include twisted ropes, tubular straps and artisan details. Sophisticated colour combinations match primary and secondary tones with ethnic hues and Indonesian floral motives.
Contemporary twist
This swimwear trend takes into consideration uniqueness, inclusivity and respect for the human body using classic and simple lines that resemble the 1920s. The emphasis is also on contrasting black and white and Grecian styles with drapes and folds.

Presented with a mind to technological features and a sporty attitude. The colourful fabrics take centre stage but there is an emphasis on layers. Bright, Energising femininity with eighties popping colours and sleek ergonomic shapes that focus on body lines to enhance shape.
